Thanks to innovative groove putter company GEL Golf, visitors to this year’s London Golf Show will have a golden opportunity to glean instructional tips from Dr Paul Hurrion, putting coach to a number of European Tour and Ryder Cup stars.

While Hurrion will be at the show primarily to officially launch the GEL Paul Hurrion Signature Range into the European market, he will also be on hand to host some exclusive teaching clinics on the GEL Golf Putting Green that will include a must-see putting seminar on the main stage on the first day of the show (Friday, April 25).

Designed in conjunction with GEL Golf, the GEL Paul Hurrion Signature Range reflects more than 10 years of study and research by Hurrion into the art and science of putting while incorporating the latest from GEL’s Groove and Insert Technology.

Most notably in the Hurrion Range, the size of the GEL multi-layer, grooved aluminium insert has been increased and refined by Hurrion, delivering even greater feel and feedback.

In addition, weight has been positioned around the perimeter of the club head creating a high moment of inertia (MOI), so increasing the forgiveness and creating truer roll.

The use of this innovative technology creates instant forward roll on the golf ball, thus reducing the effect of skidding whilst the brand’s use of unique precision-cut, grooved inserts in the putter face is designed to provide greater grip when the putter strikes the ball in order to promote a smoother, truer roll and so eliminate skidding.

Independent laboratory testing has shown that the more grip imparted on the ball at impact, the more top spin is generated. The result is a more accurate and consistent stroke, meaning simply that golfers hole more putts.
