Following the success of the 2007 show, this year’s Parelli Celebration at The NEC Arena on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 August looks set to be bigger and better than ever! This unique event provides the only opportunity for the public to see legendary horse behaviourists Pat and Linda Parelli in the UK this year.
The two-day programme is set to provide great entertainment, thought provoking natural horsemanship and breath taking behavioural transformations.
Day one of the programme will cover a range of topics including The Peril of Specialization and Lazy Horse Makeover. Come and see Pat demonstrate in his own inimitable way how to stop your horse rushing, refusing and rearing as he analyses breakdowns and showcases success strategies for restoring your failing horse.
In Linda Parelli’s Lazy Horse Makeover you’ll be shown how to use psychology as oppose to the crop to motivate your horse to do the things you want it to do, making it easier for you and your horse to get along.
To discover the secret to truly connecting with horses you should check out “Liberty” De-Mystified by Pat Parelli. This technique has become a significant high-level goal for Parelli students around the world.
Building Bravery, Rider Makeovers and the Fun Factor are all topics covered on Day Two of the show.
Most people think fearful horses cannot change but most fearful horses don’t have people with the necessary skills to help them. In Building Bravery Pat Parelli will demonstrate the right approach and show how horses can quickly overcome what they perceive to be truly life-threatening.
If you’ve ever wanted to know how you can change just one or two things and completely transform a rider and their effect on the horse, then Linda Parelli’s Rider Makeover is the session for you. Linda’s concept of “Fluidity” is the result of fifteen years devoted to decoding what makes Pat Parelli so naturally balanced and fluid as a rider. In this session you’ll see how Linda uses that blueprint as an overlay for the riders she coaches. And almost more importantly than that, you’ll start to see how your own horse can be the greatest riding teacher you’ll ever have.
In The Fun Factor session Pat focuses on the importance of horse-riders still having fun whilst striving for excellence and winning ribbons. For many riders the fun evaporates as soon as they achieve their goals which is no fun for your horse so make sure you inject lots of fun in your relationship with your horse by picking up on Pat’s tips.
