Vodafone has just launched Vodafone Music Manager, a music application for PCs that enables Vodafone customers to listen to, buy and manage music files in a simpler way on their PC, and to transfer music files easily between their PC and mobile phone.

Once users have downloaded the free application for Vodafone's website at www.vodafone.pt, they can buy music tracks from the Vodafone Music Store in a user-friendly way, organise and play all the music stored on their PC (in wma, mp3 and wav formats) and create and manage their own Playlists and music tracks in an integrated way between Music Store, PC and mobile phone.

Vodafone customers will also be able to synchronise music between their PC and mobile phone, burn CDs of tracks bought from the Vodafone Music Store or other places and rip tracks from CDs.

The launch of this service is part of Vodafone's major focus on mobile-PC convergence, giving its customers access to innovative services that, with a simple and transparent experience in use, enable them to benefit from the advantages of PCs and mobile phones in accessing digital music.
