ON SALE 9AM FRIDAY ... WILL YOUNG MAJOR UK TOUR ANNOUNCED

Gail Bennett
3rd July 2008

It has been 4 long years since Will Young last performed in Plymouth to a sell out crowd and now he's back in fine form!
(Last performed in Plymouth on 29 May 2004)

Will Young hits the road again this Winter with a major UK tour and brings his 'Let It Go 2008' show to Plymouth Pavilions on Tuesday 9 December 2008.

Opening at Newcastle's City Hall on 16 November, he plays a total 17 dates over the following month, culminating in a closing date at London's Roundhouse on 12 December.

Will's performance, as well as featuring many favourites from his enviable back-catalogue, will centre around his stunning new album.

Released 29 September, 'Let It Go' plays to Will's strengths whilst also pushing him in exciting new directions, melding soul, disco and that extraordinary voice with good old-fashioned pop to create his most arresting record to date.

The effervescent new single 'Changes' (released 14 September) provides an excellent introduction to his new material and whets the appetite for what will surely become the soundtrack to Winter 2008.

Press & Promotions Officer at Plymouth Pavilions, Robert Maltby said: "It has been a long wait to get Will back down to Plymouth and we are delighted to be a part of his latest tour. Will has always had a very strong fan base down in the South West, especially with his connection with Exeter Uni. I'm sure this show will go down a storm with his fans, backed by material from his highly anticipated new album, by the time Will hits Plymouth in December he will be on a career high!".
